    Collaboration key in achieving development agenda in Volta Region – Minister

    Mr. James Gunu, the Volta Regional Minister has emphasized the need for effective collaboration, to enhance the development of the region.

    He underscored the need for politicians and technocrats to work hand in hand, in shaping ideas that would bring about positive transformation and socio-economic progress.

    Mr. Gunu, at a meeting with the heads of departments and agencies (MDAs) in the region, charged all, to pool their efforts together to make the region the best investment destination.

    He said the performance of the heads of departments and agencies would determine the success of the region, urging them to work hard in implementing Government policies to move the region forward.

    He mentioned the water shortage that hit Ho and its environs, tidal wave at Keta and the bad state of the Residency as immediate challenges that confronted after assuming office.

    The Minister said mechanisms were in place to supply water to some departments and agencies to using water tankers to address the water crisis.

    The heads of the various departments and agencies pledged to offer the necessary support to the Minister in the discharge of his duties success.
