Fidelity Bank Ghana has reinforced its commitment to inclusion and community support through a series of outreach activities in February, blending long-term institutional partnerships with targeted acts of compassion.
Central to the Bank’s efforts was a renewed donation of GHS 20,000 to New Horizon Special School to support its educational and operational needs. The team also shared boxes of chocolates with students and staff, continuing an annual tradition of engaging directly with the children. The visit marks more than a decade of partnership between Fidelity Bank and the school, underscoring sustained support for inclusive education and children living with special needs.
Director of Customer Experience, Comfort Armoo, emphasised that the relationship goes beyond periodic giving, describing it as a long-standing commitment rooted in shared purpose and community impact.
Expanding its outreach, the Bank responded to an appeal from the Gbantana Community in Ada by donating wheelchairs to four individuals living with physical disabilities. The intervention is expected to improve mobility, school attendance, and social participation for the beneficiaries, while advancing inclusion and equal opportunity.
On Valentine’s Day, the Bank also visited the Accra Psychiatric Hospital, distributing chocolates to patients and healthcare workers as a gesture of appreciation and encouragement.
In celebration of National Chocolate Day, chocolates were further shared across Fidelity’s branches nationwide, reinforcing its connection to Ghana’s cocoa heritage and expressing appreciation to customers and communities.
Through these initiatives, Fidelity Bank continues to place compassion, inclusion, and long-term partnership at the centre of its corporate social responsibility agenda.
