The Ghana Immigration Service has received a 62-seater bus from the German Federal Police, donated through the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany. The gesture bolsters the strong cooperation and solidarity between Ghana and Germany.
Mr. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, Minister for the Interior, praised the German Government for its ongoing support to Ghana and the Ghana Immigration Service. He emphasized the importance of international cooperation in migration management and border security.
The minister described the donation as a vital enhancement to the Service’s ability to manage migration and safeguard national security. He affirmed the government’s commitment to ongoing cooperation with the German Government and other partners to promote national development and security.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Daniel Krull, German Ambassador to Ghana, Mrs. Doreen Annan, Acting Chief Director of the Ministry of the Interior, Mr. Samuel Basintale Amadu, Acting Comptroller-General of the Ghana Immigration Service, and officials from both the German Embassy and the Ghana Immigration Service.
