The AH Chapter of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International (FGBMFI) has been formally inaugurated, with the Executive Chairman of the Jospong Group, Dr Joseph Siaw Agyepong, inducted into the Fellowship at the ceremony.
The inauguration took place during a breakfast meeting at AH Hotel in East Legon, Accra, on Saturday, January 31, 2026, and brought together business executives and professionals to deliberate on ethical leadership, faith, and their role in building impactful and sustainable enterprises across Africa.
Delivering the keynote address, Dr Siaw Agyepong shared reflections on his personal and professional journey, describing his life as a testimony of grace, resilience, and divine guidance. Accompanied by members of the Jospong Group, his participation underscored the collective values and shared vision that define his leadership approach.
He recounted his rise from humble beginnings to becoming the head of one of Africa’s leading indigenous conglomerates, highlighting faith, discipline, and perseverance as central pillars of his success. According to him, early challenges—including limited formal education and economic hardship—shaped his belief that enduring success is rooted not only in business strategy and capital, but also in purpose, integrity, and obedience to God.
Dr Siaw Agyepong also spoke about pivotal moments in his entrepreneurial journey that led to the Jospong Group’s focus on environmental management and infrastructure development across the continent. He attributed the Group’s operations in approximately 25 African countries to consistent prayer, ethical leadership, and a clearly defined mission.
Beyond commercial success, he emphasised the responsibility of Christian business leaders to invest in human capital, community development, and spiritual growth. He disclosed plans to incorporate places of worship into major operational sites as the Group continues to expand, reinforcing the integration of faith and enterprise.
The National President of FGBMFI Ghana, Mr Emmanuel Baba Mahama, described the inauguration of the AH Chapter as both strategic and prophetic. He noted the alignment between the Fellowship’s global vision and Dr Siaw Agyepong’s Pan-African business presence, describing the chapter as a practical platform for advancing faith-based leadership in the corporate space.
As part of the ceremony, Dr Siaw Agyepong was formally welcomed into the Fellowship and presented with official insignia, accompanied by prayers for wisdom, protection, and sustained impact in business and service.
Mr Mahama subsequently declared the AH Chapter officially inaugurated, expressing confidence that it would serve as a centre for mentorship, ethical business practice, and Christian witness. He noted that the chapter is expected to facilitate broader engagement across industries and national boundaries.
The event concluded on a reflective and hopeful note, with participants describing the gathering as both inspiring and grounding. Organisers indicated that the AH Chapter is poised to play a significant role in nurturing principled leadership among emerging entrepreneurs, in line with the Fellowship’s mission of transforming lives and businesses through faith.
