The Ghana Police Service has assured applicants under its 2025/2026 recruitment exercise that the process is progressing steadily, with successful candidates being invited in batches for document validation.
In a statement issued on August 1, 2026, by the Police Headquarters Public Affairs Directorate, the Service said the validation exercise is ongoing at designated centres across the country.
The exercise is aimed at verifying applicants’ academic certificates, examination results and other documents submitted during the earlier stages of the recruitment process.
The Police Service disclosed that the first group of successful applicants has already been invited and is currently undergoing the validation process.
It further clarified that applicants who completed their medical examinations and were declared fit but have not yet received invitations should remain patient, as they are still part of the recruitment pool and will be considered in subsequent batches.
According to the Service, the recruitment exercise will continue in phases until 2028, in accordance with the approved recruitment schedule.
The Police also cautioned applicants against false information and fraudulent schemes, warning them not to pay money to individuals who claim they can influence or secure recruitment opportunities.
The Service reiterated its commitment to ensuring a transparent and credible recruitment process and urged applicants and the general public to rely only on official communications from the Ghana Police Service.
