Sanaa’s appointment takes effect in September 2026 and places him in charge of the company’s commercial strategy and sales operations across the Middle East and Africa.
Announcing the appointment in a LinkedIn post, Sanaa marked the beginning of his new role with the words: “I’m finally home.”
In his new position, he will work with distributors, retail partners, educational institutions, houses of worship and other key industry stakeholders to expand Roland’s presence and drive sustainable growth across the region.
Sanaa brings nearly two decades of international experience in sales leadership, business development, strategic planning, business intelligence and market expansion across Africa and the Middle East.
Before joining Roland Europe Group, he held senior commercial and leadership positions at organisations including Yamaha Corporation, Isuzu Motors and Daimler Truck.
During his career, he has led initiatives in regional expansion, pricing strategy, market development and commercial performance across several international markets.
Sanaa holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA).
Beyond his corporate career, Sanaa is an author, creative entrepreneur and professional bass guitarist. He authored Passion, Persistence & Progress – Make the Dream Work, a book that examines leadership, resilience and purpose through experiences from the business and creative sectors.
He is also an award-winning musician and was named Instrumentalist of the Year at the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).
His appointment brings together his two major professional passions—business and music—as he assumes responsibility for Roland’s sales operations across the Middle East and Africa, one of the company’s key international markets.
