N’Adom Darko-Asare bids farewell to The National Spelling Bee Ghana, leaving a legacy of excellence

After seven inspiring years, Miss N’Adom Darko-Asare has concluded her illustrious journey with The National Spelling Bee Ghana (TNSB-Gh), leaving an indelible mark on Ghana’s literacy development.

Her achievements, including being the first Ghanaian Semi-Finalist at the Scripps National Spelling Bee USA in 2024, continue to inspire young achievers across the nation.

The National Spelling Bee Ghana, an affiliate of the prestigious Scripps National Spelling Bee, has been Ghana’s platform for nurturing talent for 17 consecutive years. Starting at just six years old, N’Adom demonstrated unmatched resilience, becoming a two-time National Champion (2022 and 2023). Her global success reached its pinnacle in 2024 when she broke barriers and advanced to the Semi-Finals of the Scripps Bee—the best performance by a Ghanaian in the competition’s history.
