Samsung Ghana has announced an upgrade to its warranty policy, extending coverage for refrigerators and washing machines from 12 months to 24 months.

The revised policy, which took effect on April 1, 2026, is designed to offer customers greater value and improved protection against manufacturing defects.

In addition to the two-year standard warranty, customers will continue to enjoy a 10-year warranty on Digital Inverter Compressors in refrigerators and Digital Inverter Motors in washing machines.

According to the company, this move reflects strong confidence in the durability and performance of its appliances, which are powered by Digital Inverter Technology to enhance energy efficiency and minimise wear over time.

Managing Director of Samsung Ghana, Dong Hyun Ko, stated that the decision highlights the brand’s dedication to customer satisfaction.

He explained that the extended warranty is part of ongoing efforts to deliver exceptional value while assuring customers of the reliability and quality of Samsung products.

The updated warranty applies to all Samsung refrigerators and washing machines purchased from April 1, 2026.
