When Omar Sterling, the lyrical don and one half of the legendary duo R2Bees, announces new music, the streets listen. Known to many as Paedae, he has built a reputation not just as a rapper but as a voice of the people—a poet whose words resonate across generations. Now, he is set to shake the culture again with the release of his highly anticipated mixtape, VTH 2, arriving on October 7th, 2025.

Omar Sterling’s artistry has always been bigger than music. He embodies storytelling rooted in truth, reality, and resilience, weaving everyday struggles with timeless wisdom. For over a decade, his words have inspired, challenged, and entertained—earning him a revered spot as one of Africa’s sharpest pens in hip-hop history. With VTH 2, fans expect nothing less than raw authenticity.

Before announcing the project, Sterling tested the waters with “Boom Boom” — the first single off VTH 2, released on March 5th, 2024. Featuring Reggie, O’Kenneth, and Jay Bahd, three of the brightest stars from Ghana’s Asakaa movement, the track was a masterstroke. It not only showed Paedae’s willingness to bridge generations but also cemented his connection with the new wave of Ghanaian drill (Asakaa) while still holding firm to his lyrical depth.
“Boom Boom” quickly became a street anthem, proving that even after years at the top, Omar Sterling remains hungry, relevant, and deeply tuned into the sound of the youth.

VTH 2 is more than just a sequel—it’s a statement. Fans anticipate a mixtape that blends gritty street tales, soulful reflections, and unfiltered lyricism. Omar Sterling has never been about chasing trends; instead, he has focused on shaping the culture. This new project promises to remind everyone why his voice continues to matter, both in Ghana and beyond.

From heavy-hitting bars to introspective cuts, VTH 2 is expected to deliver an experience that will not just entertain but also speak to the realities of everyday life. For Paedae, rap isn’t just music—it’s documentation of the streets, the hustle, and the dreams of a people.

As one half of R2Bees, Omar Sterling has been instrumental in pushing Ghanaian music to the global stage. But as a solo artist, he has carved his own lane as a cultural force—balancing artistry with impact. VTH 2 is set to continue this journey, reminding the next generation of rappers that while flows and styles evolve, lyricism and authenticity never go out of fashion.

With October 7th fast approaching, anticipation is at fever pitch. Fans know one thing: when Omar Sterling picks up the mic, it’s not just music—it’s a movement
