Accra, Ghana — The United States Virgin Islands delegation has arrived in Ghana and officially begun a week of engagements aimed at deepening business, tourism and investment ties between the two sides.
Speaking on Channel One TV, officials from the Ghana Enterprises Agency and representatives of the U.S. Virgin Islands said the visit marks the start of a fresh phase in cooperation, with meetings focused on trade, culture, economic development and partnerships for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Chairman of the U.S. Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority, Kevin Rodriguez, said the delegation came to Ghana to engage stakeholders and discuss practical opportunities for doing business between Ghana and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The discussions are expected to center on trade opportunities, investment partnerships, tourism development and cultural exchange, while also promoting a major business and tourism reception scheduled for June 12.
Officials say the visit builds on an earlier mission led by the Governor of the U.S. Virgin Islands and is intended to turn diplomatic goodwill into concrete economic outcomes for businesses in both Ghana and the territory.
