    2024 Beach Soccer Premiere League finals slated for January 26

    The much-awaited 2024 Beach Soccer Premiere League grand finale between Layoca Beach Soccer Club and Havedzi Mighty Warriors has been scheduled to take place on Sunday, January 26.

    Ada Beach Soccer Arena, in the Greater Accra Region is expected to host the highly rated grand finale, which was described by many sport lovers as clash of the titans in Ghana beach Soccer league.

    Mr Nana Opoku Amankwa, Manager, Ghana Black Sharks, in an interview with the Ghana News Agency, said the games would be held at Ada Beach Soccer Arena on Sundays, January 26 at exactly 1530 hours.

    “Unfortunately, the third place play-off would not be held this season, but we are expecting a high-profile game between these two giants in Ghana Beach Soccer League,” he said.

    He urged all beach soccer lovers to come in their number to support their various teams in the finals at Ada to climax the league season.

    Mr Innocent Ku-Mensah, Havedzi Mighty Warriors player and Coach, in an earlier interview with the GNA, said that the team was poised to win the 2024 beach soccer premiere league trophy.

    “We have been preparing for some time now and we are happy the executives of the league have finally arranged for the finals; the players are in very high spirits for this grand finale. The trophy will come home.”

    Havedzi Mighty Warriors, the 2021 CAL Bank Beach Soccer Union Cup winners and the winners of BSPL zone two beat the defending champions Ada Assurance Beach Soccer Club and Keta Sunset Sports to win the zone two of the league and have expressed readiness for the finals.

    Meanwhile, Mr Nii Bonney, the Head Coach of Accra based Layoca Beach Soccer Club, also indicated the team’s readiness for the tough game against Havedzi based Mighty Warriors from the Volta region.

    He urged fans to come and give them the maximum support to win the premiere league trophy for the first time.

    Layoca beach soccer club, the winners of zone one defeated the last season finalist, Cheetah Beach Soccer club and other six clubs to picked the premiere league final slot.

    Some sports journalist GNA spoke with expected difficult final game as both teams will parade top talent players who played for the national beach soccer team, the Black Shark which include striker Richard Osai, Black Sharks and Layoca BSC captain and prolific defender Torgbo Kwaku of the Havedzi Mighty Warriors.

    The winner of the game is expected to take home a trophy, medals among others.
