    Govt receives 10 ventilators to fight Covid-19

    The government has received 10 pieces of ventilators from the Peewood Limited and Tema Bonded Terminal as a contribution to support the efforts in the handling and management of the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic in Ghana.

    The Senior Minister, Mr Yaw Osafo Maafo received the ventilators on behalf of government Tuesday morning (May 26, 2020).

    The ventilators which have the same specifications as those being ordered by the Ministry of Health (MoH) were handed over to the government by Mr Adu Arthur, Founder and CEO.

    The donation is part of the corporate social responsibility of Peewood.

    The donors, Tema Bonded Terminal has provided a distribution list for the 10 ventilators.

    They are: 

    GPHA International Maritime Hospital, Tema – 2 Ventilators

    Tema Government Hospital, Tema – 1 Ventilator

    Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital – 2 Ventilators

    South Suntreso Government Hospital – 1 Ventilator

    Sunyani Regional Hospital – 1 Ventilator

    Ho Teaching Hospital – 1 Ventilator

    Oda Government Hospital – 1 Ventilator

    Yilo Krobo Municipal Health Directorate – 1 Ventilator
