    Bank of Africa awarded with ‘outstanding in growth’ in GFI awards

    Bank Of Africa Ghana on Friday, June 11, 2021, was awarded the financial institution with the ‘Outstanding in Growth’ award at the Ghana Financial Intermediation (GFI) Awards.

     

    The award scheme which was organized by The Business Executive had the Commissioner-General of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), Rev. Ammishaddai Owusu-Amoah, present the award to the Deputy Managing Director in charge of Business Development of Bank of Africa Ghana, Youssef Benrhafiane and Fatoumata Gakou, the Deputy Managing Director in charge of Credit and Control departments of Bank of Africa Ghana at the event.

    The bank received a citation and a plaque from the organizers which they dedicated to their staff and customers.

    According to the organizers, the Bank of Africa was recognized and awarded due to the bank’s outstanding financial services to its customers before and after Covid.

    At the Ghana Financial Intermediation Awards (GFI) which was held at Tang Palace Hotel on Friday, 15 financial institutions and personalities were also recognised.

    The other awardees include Alhaji Salamu Amadu (Chairman, Afro Arab Group), Mukesh Thakwani (CEO, B5 Plus LTD), Paul Atsu Fiawoo (General Manager Asubonteng Rural Bank LTD), TF Financial Services LTB, Asutifi Rural Bank, Bonzali Rural Banks LTD, Republic Bank Ghana PLC, BESSFA Rural Bank, Atwima Kwanwoma Rural Bank LTD, EV Micro-Finance LTD, CIDAN Capital Micro –Finance, Bidvest Micro-Finance LTD, The Mint Micro –Finance LTD and Kintampo Rural Bank.

    Rev. Ammishaddai Owusu-Amoah, H.E Mrs Francess Virginia Anderson (High Commissioner of Sierra Leone), Mrs Jacqueline Dufie Mpare (Non-Executive Director, Financial Inclusion Forum Africa and Mrs Antoninette Kwofie (Executive Director of Finance and Regional CFO ABSA Bank) were special guests.
