    Covid-19: GHS to commence vaccination of 15year old students with Pfizer

    The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has served notice for the commencement of vaccination of students aged 15 years and above with the Pfizer BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine in all schools across the country.

    According to the GHS, the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has given its approval for the Pfizer vaccine to be administered on children 15-years and above.

    “As part of measures at halting the spread of COVID-19 in schools and among the general public, the Ghana Health Service has planned to vaccinate all children aged 15 years and above as soon as possible to increase their level of protection against COVID-19,” the Director General for GES, Kwasi Opoku Amankwa has said in a statement.
