The event was graced by dignitaries, including Mr Naadado Mcaly, the Sogakope Circuit Court Judge, Mr. Baafi Nsiah, the Chief Registrar of the Ministry of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, and other prominent traditional leaders.

Mr. Attipoe, in his address, urged the council members to eschew chieftaincy disputes and embrace unity for the development of Sokpoe.

He emphasized the importance of collaboration and collective effort in driving progress and prosperity.

“This inauguration ceremony signaled a new beginning for the Sokpoe Traditional Council, setting the stage for a harmonious and progressive future. With unity and cooperation at the forefront, the council can drive development and prosperity in the traditional area,” he explained.

Mr Mcaly administered the oath of membership and secrecy to the Chiefs and Queen mothers, formally inducting them into their new roles.

Mr. Nsiah assured the council of government’s commitment to supporting their development initiatives.

He encouraged Togbega Kadzi Zogah II, the newly inaugurated President of the Sokpoe Traditional Council, to foster unity among traditional leaders and resolve any outstanding disputes.

Togbega  Zogah pledged to work diligently to resolve chieftaincy issues, promote growth, and improve the well-being of the people.

He called for cooperation and support from member Chiefs, Queen mothers, and subjects to effectively run the council’s affairs.

“We would work closely with stakeholders to address pressing issues, promote cultural heritage, and enhance the overall quality of life for the people of Sokpoe,” Togbega Zogah said.

He lauded the government through the Ministry of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs for their continuous support.

Togbega Zogah mentioned that more effort would be made to accelerate the development of the traditional area   with the support from the government and all relevant stakeholders.
