Pullers from Nigeria, Benin, and Togo, together with the Ghanaian contingent will compete in an electrifying display of strength and skill at the Centre Point Mall in Accra.

Team Ghana, led by world champion Grace Minta have been in camp over the past few weeks preparing to compete in various weight categories for the ultimate bragging rights.

Mr. Charles Osei Asibey, President of GAF speaking in an interview with the GNA Sports said the championship formed part of the federation’s lineup in celebrating Ghana’s success at the continental games.

“Armwrestling is a household sport and everybody loves it. We made history at the Africa Games for the first time and Ghanaians have since shown so much love for the sport,” he said.
