    Parliament Passes 2025 Appropriation Bill

    The 2025 Appropriation Bill has been approved by Parliament, allowing the government to spend GHC293 billion from the consolidated fund and other public funds for the fiscal year 2025.

    The bill represents the total estimated expenditure for the government in 2025, with GHC68 billion allocated for wages and salaries and GHC13 billion for the payment of arrears.

    Speaking on the approval of the 2025 Appropriation Bill, the First Deputy Speaker, Bernard Ahiafor, said, “Hon. members, the Appropriation 2025 is now read the third time and accordingly passed.”
