    The city of Kumasi, the Ashanti Regional capital is bracing itself for a thrilling night of music, dance, and celebration as the Ashanti Konnect Concert Musical Festival takes center stage at Rattray Park on Saturday, April 19. 

    The event, which forms part of the vibrant lineup for Ashantifest 2025, is powered by MTN Ghana in collaboration with the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council (ARCC).Described as one of the flagship entertainment events of this year’s Ashantifest, the concert is expected to draw massive crowds from across the Ashanti Region and beyond, offering a rich blend of contemporary Ghanaian music.

    The concert promises to deliver an unforgettable experience, showcasing top-tier performances from some of the finest musicians Ghana can boast of.Among those billed to perform are YPEE, Mass Mello, Bosoma, Seven Kiss, and the ever-popular Allo Dancers. 

    The Ashanti Konnect Concert comes at a time when the city is buzzing with festive energy due to both Ashantifest and the Easter holidays, offering the perfect weekend package for families, friends, and fun-seekers.With gates set to open in the early evening and performances running into the night, Kumasi’s Rattray Park is expected to transform into a vibrant hub of celebration of music.

    Organisers promised a safe and secure environment suitable for fun-filled activities throughout the night.Officials from MTN Ghana have expressed excitement about the concert, noting that it is part of the company’s broader efforts to connect with communities through arts and entertainment.MTN’s sponsorship of the Ashanti Konnect Concert is part of its longstanding corporate social responsibility efforts.
