Yang Yang, Chief Executive Officer of Zonda Tec Ghana Ltd., has brought pride to Ghana after winning two major honours at the GWM Experience Awards in Dubai. She was recognised for “Outstanding Sales Growth in West Africa” and “Outstanding Distributor Manager,” standing out among top distributors from across Africa and other regions.

Her achievements were largely driven by Ghana’s impressive sales performance and the early rollout of the TANK 700, surpassing markets traditionally known for stronger SUV and pickup sales. Speaking at the event, held at the Al Habtoor Hotel, Yang said the awards reaffirm her dedication to strengthening Ghana’s presence in the global automobile industry.

She highlighted Ghana’s growing importance as a key market for GWM’s expansion in West Africa, fueled by rising demand and increasing consumer confidence in the brand’s hybrid and off-road models. Yang added that Zonda Tec Ghana will continue to prioritise after-sales services, dealer development, and staff training.

Her double victory underscores not only her leadership but also Ghana’s expanding influence in the region’s competitive automotive sector.
