Fees charged by the Office of the Registrar of Companies (ORC) for its services will go up starting Monday, February 2, 2026.
The Office said the adjustment follows the Fees and Charges (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations, 2025 (L.I. 2512), which requires public institutions to periodically review the cost of their services. The new fees will apply to all services offered by the Registrar of Companies across the country.
In a notice cited by Joy Business, the ORC explained that the increase will cover a wide range of services, including company incorporation, business name registration, and other related processes. The move, according to the Office, is aimed at ensuring sustainable service delivery and improving the overall customer experience nationwide.
Although the new rates were not stated in the notice, the ORC said full details of the revised fees will be available at all its offices and published on its official website before the new charges take effect. The public and all service users have been advised to take note of the changes and plan accordingly for any transactions after the implementation date.
This decision is part of a wider effort by state institutions, departments, and agencies to comply with the Fees and Charges Regulations, 2025, passed by Parliament. Just last week, the National Identification Authority also announced increases in some of its service fees, citing the need to maintain and improve service quality.
