The AFRICON MSIs Summit & Awards 2026 is set to convene a high-level Pan-African platform bringing together policymakers, investors, corporates, micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), development partners, and the African diaspora to advance inclusive trade, industrialisation, and investment across the continent.

The three-day event will take place from May 5 to 7, 2026, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

The Summit is a transformative strategic platform designed to reshape the MSI sector. Its core aims are to spur innovation, promote cross-border collaboration, and, importantly, advance women’s participation and leadership within MSI by unlocking their entrepreneurial potential and positioning them at the heart of Africa’s economic growth.

Participants will benefit from high-value networking opportunities, access to investment prospects, forward-looking industry insights, the ability to engage and influence policy discussions, and connections with a global network of leading industry players.

A key highlight of the event will be the prestigious Future is Female and Men Champions Awards, which will honour trailblazers and visionary leaders driving transformation and redefining the MSI landscape across Africa.

The Africon MSIs Summit 2026 will spotlight high-potential industry sectors ripe for scalable growth, innovation, and strategic partnerships between Tanzania, India, and broader global markets:

    • Agriculture & Agribusiness – Strengthening value chains and food security through innovation and sustainable partnerships
    • Creative Industries – Showcasing African excellence in fashion, media, film, and the arts
    • Tourism & Hospitality – Celebrating Africa’s cultural richness and elevating sustainable tourism as a driver for economic transformation
    •  Renewable Energy & Infrastructure – Driving inclusive energy solutions and resilient infrastructure development
    • Education & Human Capital – Investing in skills, leadership, and the future workforce
    • Trade & Investment – Unlocking regional integration and new markets for MSMEs and global players
    • Digital Economy & Innovation – Accelerating tech ecosystems and the fourth industrial revolution
    • Health & Wellness – Advancing accessible, equitable healthcare and wellbeing for all

Join over 1000 influential participants, including a robust contingent of 400 international delegates primarily from BRICS, AU, EU, AfCFTA, ECOWAS, SADC, and COMESA. This unique gathering brings together policymakers, investors, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders to shape Africa’s economic trajectory.
