KNUST Student Dies in Tragic Off-Campus Accident

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) is in mourning following the death of Mr Ransford Amankwah Asomani, a second-year BSc Agribusiness Management student.

According to a statement issued on Monday, February 9, 2026, Mr Asomani fell from the second floor of an off-campus hostel in Ayeduase during the early hours of Sunday, February 8.

He was rushed to the KNUST Hospital with assistance from colleagues and the KNUST District Police Patrol Team. Despite immediate medical attention, he was pronounced dead on arrival.
