Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party and former Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, is set to deliver the keynote address at this year’s LSE Africa Summit.
Scheduled for Saturday, March 28, his presentation will focus on the theme, “Artificial Intelligence and Unifying Borders in Africa,” highlighting the role of emerging technologies in driving continental integration.
The LSE Africa Summit, organised annually by students of the London School of Economics, serves as a platform for engaging discussions on Africa’s pressing challenges and opportunities. It brings together academics, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and activists to exchange ideas and foster collaborations that can lead to impactful change.
Since its inception in 2014, the summit has grown into the largest Africa-focused student conference in Europe. It was established to challenge outdated narratives about the continent and promote a more nuanced, Afrocentric perspective that reflects Africa’s diversity and potential.
Over the years, the two-day event has built a strong reputation for encouraging critical dialogue and showcasing innovative thinking in response to the continent’s evolving dynamics.
