PanAvest and Nvame Partner to Promote African Thought Leadership and Innovation

PanAvest International and Partners has formed a strategic partnership with Nvame to advance African thought leadership and promote Afrocentric knowledge in support of the continent’s long-term development goals, including the African Continental Free Trade Area and African Union Agenda 2063.

Established in 2001 in South Africa, PanAvest has consistently advocated for African-centred governance, industrialisation, and strategic leadership. The new collaboration aims to build on this foundation by ensuring that impactful African ideas are widely shared through strong institutional partnerships.

A key focus of the initiative is to amplify African perspectives through the global promotion and distribution of the works of Douglas Boateng, Founder and Chairman of PanAvest. With Nvame’s publishing and strategic communications expertise, the partnership will also broaden access to African-authored thought leadership across academic, corporate, and policy spaces.

The collaboration is expected to enhance major leadership platforms such as the Boardroom Governance Summit, recognised as one of the continent’s leading forums on boardroom governance.

Beyond publications and events, both organisations plan to jointly develop forward-looking programmes and initiatives aimed at accelerating Africa’s industrial growth and strengthening its position in the global knowledge economy.

Speaking on the partnership, Professor Boateng emphasised the importance of African-driven ideas in shaping the continent’s future, noting that sustainable progress depends on homegrown thinking and leadership.

Makafui Aikins, Chief Executive Officer of Nvame, described the partnership as a deliberate move to place African knowledge and best practices at the forefront of global discourse, linking ideas to practical impact.

Together, PanAvest and Nvame aim to reinforce Africa’s intellectual independence and global influence by connecting ideas, institutions, and leadership across the continent.
