TECNO Ghana Menswear Week #GHMW, will host the best of Africa’s menswear designers and models in Accra from Saturday, August 26-27, 2023 at the World Trade Centre, Accra.

This year’s event marking the seventh edition is powered by TECNO Mobile’s Camon20 series and supported by KGL Foundation, Woodin Ghana, Vine Imagery and Hector’s Underwear.

According to Nana Mensah, Founder of the event, the main runway shows will feature the best of streetwear brands on day one (1) in a street style fashion dubbed ‘Abonten’ on Saturday August 26 at 3pm.

Day two will feature bespoke menswear on Sunday, August 27 at the Atrium of the World Trade Center at 7pm.

Designers and models in this one of a kind show are from Ghana, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Benin, South Africa and UK.

Ghana Menswear Week is an annual fashion showcase launched in 2016 by Fame Model Management to create a platform for creative men’s wear designers and brands.

It aims to bring together men’s wear designers, buyers, men’s services providers, bloggers and fashionistas under one roof.

TECNO, one of Ghana’s most preferred premium smart phone brand with a comprehensive mobile device portfolio focused on product quality, innovation and style is headlining the 2023 Ghana Menswear week event as its title sponsor.

By this partnership, the 2023 event has been renamed TECNO Ghana Menswear week according to Nana Mensah.

“TECNO Mobile has been very supportive to the menswear week brand in the last two editions of the show as a strategic corporate partner and this year’s title sponsor partnership cements a relationship that seems to be growing every year and is mutually beneficial to both brands,” he added.

According to a representative from TECNO Mobile Ghana, the brand’s ‘Stop at Nothing’ slogan makes room for young creatives to go all out to achieve their dreams by exploring innovations between fashion and technology with its latest Camon20 series smart phones whose lineup comprises Camon20, Camon20 Pro, Camon20Pro 5G and Camon20 Premier which are all successors to last year’s Camon19 series.
