Felix Afena-Gyan was reportedly the victim of a burglary while away on international duty with the Ghana national football team last week.
According to reports, an unknown attacker allegedly broke into the player’s residence in Italy and stole several personal belongings during his absence.
Afena-Gyan had travelled with Ghana for an international friendly match against Mexico, which ended in a 2-0 defeat for the Black Stars as part of preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The 22-year-old forward featured in the match and played 67 minutes before being substituted.
Reports indicate that after returning to Italy following the national team assignment, the player discovered that his home had been ransacked.
The Ghanaian attacker, who currently plays club football in Turkey, has not yet publicly commented on the incident.
