Former Choggu/Tishigu Member of Parliament and former Minister for Food and Agriculture, Ibrahim Adam, has reportedly passed away.
Ibrahim Adam, an animal scientist and veteran politician, served as Agriculture Secretary before becoming Minister for Food and Agriculture under the administration of former President Jerry John Rawlings.
He later represented the Choggu/Tishigu Constituency in Parliament from 1997 to 2001.
Beyond his political career, Ibrahim Adam served as Board Chairman of the Agricultural Development Bank, contributing to Ghana’s agricultural and financial sectors.
His death represents a loss to Ghana’s political and agricultural communities, where he played significant roles over several years.
