Ghanaian comedian Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, popularly known as Funny Face, announced the passing of his father on his official Instagram page this morning.
In a short message accompanying a photograph of himself and his father, Funny wrote: “I never got to say goodbye. This your death has hit me hard. You were gone before I knew it, and only GOD knows why.”
Funny Face continued to lament his misfortunate, praying that his late father’s spirit keeps watching over his family.
“Why did you leave SOO SOON? You have left us broken, DAD. Till we meet again. REST IN PEACE DADDY, continue to watch over me and my sisters. Hmmm.”
Funny Face, who is just recovering from an episode with his mental health, is facing another tragedy with his father’s death.
