Lakeside Estate has officially launched the tallest and largest water slide in Ghana, accompanied by a self-serve clubhouse, Lakeside Marina Kitchen, conference room with aquarium, and boat-shaped outdoor lounge.

The 600-square-meter splash pool water park is now open to the public, offering a safe space for recreation.

According to Dr. Prince-Joseph Ayiku, Managing Director of Lakeside Estate and Marina Water Park, the park aims to provide a space for families and individuals to rest and have fun, creating jobs for the youth.

Dr. Ayiku stated “The purpose of the park is to create a space where families and individuals can rest and have fun. This is in line with our vision of creating a real estate company that would not only focus on developing houses but also putting in place, a system where the residents within the community and outside the community can have a place to relax and have fun and create a lot of jobs for the youth.”

We need to preserve our lakes and prevent galamsey from destroying our lakes so we can use them, not only for recreation facility but also for drinking and irrigation.”

Capt. Salah Kweku Kalmoni, Executive Director of Lakeside Estate, emphasised the importance of preserving safe spaces for the youth and protecting water bodies from pollution.

He noted that well-constructed recreational parks can boost domestic tourism.

The park features attractions like the Thrilling Jump Slide, Trumpet Slide, and Monster Bucket, with trained staff ensuring safety and security.

Marketing Manager Isaac Ntiamoah said the park is designed to create good memories for visitors, with a focus on safety and organisation.

He indicated “The park has trained staff who would monitor kids at the park and ensure they are well organised and not overcrowded”.
