Maverick Research has announced the appointment of Justin Sargent as Strategic Advisor, a move aimed at supporting the company’s next phase of growth and expansion across Africa.
The appointment comes as Maverick Research strengthens its presence across the continent through investments in technology, data capabilities, and market coverage, while reinforcing its role as a key provider of insights, analytics, and retail measurement services.
Sargent brings more than 30 years of international experience in consumer goods, data analytics, commercial strategy, and business transformation. He began his professional journey with Procter & Gamble, where he held several leadership positions before moving into the consumer and retail measurement industry.
During his tenure at NielsenIQ, Sargent served in a number of senior executive roles, including leadership positions overseeing Asia-Pacific operations and global commercial strategy. He was instrumental in driving business growth, enhancing client relationships, and supporting the company’s commercial transformation during a period of rapid industry evolution.
In addition to his advisory work, Sargent is the author of the Amazon best-selling book, Beyond Borders, Beyond Beliefs, and currently advises organisations on growth, leadership, and transformation strategies.
