Ms Nancy, brand ambassador for Oviza, shared the benefits of researching different family planning methods before choosing the one that is best for you.

“It is important for us to have such products on the market. Sitting in the confession booth of Confessions with Ms Nancy showing on TV3, I’ve heard so many stories about situations that one or both parties have been in the dark. Oviza will go a long way to prevent unwanted pregnancies and shattered futures.”

Queen mothers at the unveiling cautioned the youth to abstain from sex. But if they cannot, they should protect themselves from unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).

They advised using safe, certified birth control methods to prevent any irreversible side effects after long-term use.

The introduction of Oviza Levonorgestrel Emergency Contraceptive Pill offers everyone, especially women, the opportunity to prevent unwanted pregnancy in the case of a broken condom or unprotected sex.

How to administer Oviza Levonorgestrel Emergency Contraceptive Pill:

    • Take one tablet within 72 hours after unprotected intercourse.
    • Take the second tablet 12 hours after the first dose.
    • It is better if the tablets are taken as soon as possible after unprotected intercourse. Earlier = More Efficiency
    •  Oviza Levonorgestrel can be taken at any time during the menstrual cycle.
    • If vomiting occurs after pill intake, take another tablet immediately.
    • What’s better than only preventing pregnancy after birth control failure?

Oviza offers the option of reducing the risk of endometrial and ovarian cancer and heavy menstrual bleeding. But cannot be used to terminate an existing pregnancy.

As a leading local pharmaceutical company in Ghana, Action Pharma is dedicated to providing the best health and pharmaceutical products.
