The announcement was made during a ceremony held at the company’s premises on April 10, marking a strategic move to enhance brand visibility and deepen its connection with consumers.

According to Head of Sales and Marketing, Ekow Daniel, the partnership reflects the company’s core values of quality, consistency, and authenticity. He explained that although the brand has traditionally maintained a low profile, it is now taking steps to appreciate customer loyalty by collaborating with a personality who embodies similar principles.

He noted that Joe Mettle was carefully selected due to his consistent reputation and credibility over the years, describing him as an ideal fit for the brand.

Ekow Daniel also highlighted the company’s mission since its inception, which focuses on packaging food products in ways that minimise waste and improve convenience for consumers. He pointed out that Sunny Gold products—including sugar, honey, and dairy mixes—are designed for portion use to reduce spillage and ensure efficiency in everyday use.

He further emphasised the company’s dedication to delivering high-quality, organic, and authentic food products tailored to Ghanaian households.

Speaking at the event, Joe Mettle expressed excitement about the partnership, noting that his decision to join the brand was both thoughtful and personal. He shared that after careful consideration, he felt aligned with the company’s vision of promoting locally made products with global potential.

He added that supporting a Ghanaian brand making meaningful impact resonated with him, and he is eager to contribute to increasing awareness and appreciation of the products.

The musician also revealed that his personal experience with Sunny Gold products played a key role in his decision, stating that he found them enjoyable and easy to endorse.

Oxy Industries Limited has built a strong reputation over the years for producing locally made food items, including brown sugar, honey, and dairy mix products. Through its Sunny Gold brand, the company continues to prioritise convenience, quality, and sustainability while meeting the needs of consumers.
