    William Fianko to receive an award at the Africa Drums International Festival

    Ghanaian Instrumentalist, William Fianko is scheduled to receive an award at the Africa Drums International Festival on 24th November, 2022 at Hampton Conference Centre in Maryland.

    Mr Fianko who is a very good  with  the traditional instruments will be honoured and recognized for his talent. He plays instruments like the fontonfrom,  asonko, Atumpan and others.

    He is expected to receive a citation and plaque for his dedication to and love for  traditional music and instruments.

    Africa Drums International Festival USA is an event dedicated to products from Nigeria, and other African countries in areas like music, art forms, food, authentic products, African history and traditions.

    Africa Drums International Festival USA includes; Demonstration of making of all kinds of drums and repairs, Modeling and demonstration of textile design ( adire fabric weaving)

    Africans will be celebrating their tradition, culture and and music  as part of the thanksgiving celebrations in the U.S.A.  The festival will start on the 24th and end on the 26th of November, 2022.
