    Annual Youth Empowerment Convocation (AYEC) 2023: “Eruption” Set to Empower Accra’s Youth

    The much-anticipated Annual Youth Empowerment Convocation (AYEC) is back, and this year’s theme, “Empowered and Equipped: Youth Ready to Lead the Future,” promises an enlightening and empowering experience for Accra’s youth.

    Organized by the Presbyterian Church of Ghana in Sakumono, AYEC 2023 will be held at the Hope Congregation in Sakumono Estate on September 21, 2023, commencing promptly at 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

    This annual event is designed to equip and uplift the youth by addressing critical topics such as Career Development, Entrepreneurship, Mentorship, Business Pitching, Networking, Scholarship Opportunities, and much more.

    Distinguished speakers from various fields will grace the occasion, including Mr. Richard Abbey Jnr., CEO of XODUS Communications; Mr. Ebenezer Twum Asante, Senior Vice President of Markets at MTN GROUP; and Mr. Perry Asare Ansah, CEO of Premier Health Insurance.

    In addition to the impressive lineup of speakers, a team of Mentors and Capacity Enhancement Facilitators will guide the youth in areas like character development and enhancement. This esteemed group includes Mr. Ebenezer Asumang, Mr. Seth Terkper, Mr. Michael Nana Safo, Dr. Nii Longdon Sowah, Mr. Yaw Amoyaw-Sowah, and Prof. Stephen Abbeneh Mickson.

    The AYEC 2023 event promises to be an educational, entertaining, and engaging platform where Accra’s youth can gain valuable insights and skills essential for their future success.
