Elkhan Mammadov’s promotion reflects his exceptional leadership and commitment to global football development as he takes on the role of Chief Member Associations Officer.
FIFA has announced the promotion of Elkhan Mammadov to the position of Chief Member Associations Officer, effective November 1st. Elkhan joined FIFA two years ago after a successful tenure as General Secretary of the Azerbaijan Football Association and has since become a key figure in the organization.
Elkhan’s promotion follows his exceptional work leading the Member Associations Division, where his innovative approach and strong work ethic have been widely recognized. His ability to implement strategic changes and bring new ideas has made him a natural choice to succeed Kenny Jean-Marie in this important role.
“Elkhan’s promotion is well-deserved. He has consistently demonstrated leadership, creativity, and a deep commitment to developing football globally. We are excited to see him continue to thrive in this new capacity,” said FIFA Secretary General Mattias Grafström.
As Chief Member Associations Officer, Elkhan will lead a division that serves FIFA’s 211 Member Associations, ensuring they receive the support needed to grow the game in their respective countries. He will also continue to serve as Director of Member Associations for Europe.
