Speaking at the maiden Anor Event Crew Achievers’ Awards 2025, Nana Issah pointed out that, there was the need for effective communication and collaboration among community members to foster unity and progress, adding that, engaging in open dialogue was important to bring everybody on board for the development of the town.

“Embracing inclusivity and diversity within the community can cultivate a diverse array of ideas and viewpoints, which ultimately foster innovation and prosperity”, he stated. The awards ceremony, which was sponsored by Strong Adams Ventures in Kumasi, aimed at acknowledging the contributions of Anufo-Chokosis both within and outside Ghana.

The intention was to motivate them to continue their commendable efforts towards the development of Chereponi and the nation as a whole.

Mr. Jamiru Adam Kofi, the Executive Director of Anufo Event Crew, encouraged his fellow tribe people to initiate and support similar programs that uplifted and empowered the Anufo-Chokosi community, liberating them from feelings of inferiority and stagnation.

Naaba Musah Akambonga, President of the Council of Zongo Chiefs in the Ashanti Region, expressed solidarity with the Chokosi people, affirming the council’s unwavering support and recognizing the unique value that the Chokosi community brings to the Ghanaian cultural landscape.

More than twenty distinguished Chokosi individuals were honored for their diverse contributions to the advancement of their communities and were given plaques and citations
