Antoine Griezmann is preparing for a new chapter in his career, with the 35-year-old set to move to the United States in July after his current spell with Atlético Madrid.

Currently in his second stint at the club, Griezmann is Atlético’s all-time leading scorer and is approaching the milestone of 300 career club goals, having also featured for Real Sociedad and FC Barcelona.

Expressing his excitement about the move, he said he was inspired by the ambition and long-term vision of his new club, adding that he looks forward to making Orlando his home.

Griezmann retired from international football in 2024 after scoring 44 goals in 137 appearances for France national team, and was part of the squad that won the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

The forward first joined Atlético Madrid in 2014 and became a key figure in the team, winning the UEFA Europa League in 2018. Although he moved to Barcelona, he later returned to Atlético, where he remains a central figure.

In a heartfelt message to fans, Griezmann described the club as his home and supporters as family, while emphasising that he is still focused on finishing the season strongly, with ambitions of winning the Copa del Rey and progressing far in the UEFA Champions League.
