Ghanaian rapper Kweku Smoke (@kwekusmoke_) is receiving widespread praise after stepping in to cover the full medical cost for Osman Awudu Abu, a final-year BA History student at KNUST, who urgently needed GH¢66,000 for life-saving spinal surgery.
Osman, whose condition was reportedly worsening, had appealed to the public for support as doctors warned of the risk of permanent nerve damage and possible loss of mobility if the surgery wasn’t performed before the end of July 2025.
