Organisers of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards have announced a late change of venue for the 27th edition scheduled for Saturday, May 9, 2026.
The ceremony, which was originally set to be held at the La Palm Beach Hotel’s Palms Convention Centre, will now take place at the Accra International Conference Centre’s Grand Arena.
The Grand Arena, a familiar venue for the awards, has hosted several major entertainment events in Ghana and is known for its capacity to support large-scale productions.
Although organisers did not provide a reason for the switch, the relocation brings the event back to a venue widely regarded as its traditional home.
This year’s awards are expected to showcase live performances, top award presentations, and appearances from key figures in Ghana’s music industry.
With the change confirmed, fans and stakeholders are gearing up for the event as it returns to its well-known setting this weekend.
