Winner of Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2021, Miss Benedicta Sarfoa Asamoah has presented a plaque with a citation to the management of TV3 as a token of her appreciation for the platform offered her to excel as a young woman and to enable her positively impact society.

Sarfoa, as her stage name was, took part in the 2021 edition of the culturally themed reality show on TV3 representing the Ashanti Region and emerged winner ahead of Volta Region’s Setor and Western Region’s Manu.

After winning the enviable crown, Sarfoa embarked on her project of prison reforms by setting up the Sarfoa Foundation to execute her vision.

In August last year, Sarfoa’s efforts to impact society came to fruition when a smart ICT laboratory for the Senior Correctional Centre (SCC) was commissioned. This followed the refurbishment and conversion of the Centre’s ICT laboratory into a smart laboratory by Miss Benedicta Sarfoa Asamoah.

The project which was undertaken by the Sarfoa Foundation in line with the queen’s prisons reform programme, was supported by NLA/Good Causes Foundation, Coral Reef, AitelTigo and Rockstars Roofing Systems. The facility is equipped with smart tablets, to be used to train the juveniles and young offenders in basic ICT skills and robotics.

Sarfoa said she was presenting the citation on behalf of her team.

The Sarfoa Foundation expresses its utmost gratitude to TV3 for the great opportunity.

“The opportunity to champion a good course and to touch lives wherever we find ourselves. Not to talk about the grooming sessions, the values and skills acquired through this journey. Your continuous support has left an indelible mark on the tablet our hearts”, she noted.
