The second edition of the annual Ghana Models Awards JUNIORS, came off on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Ghana International School in Accra.
The award scheme celebrated child models in Ghana for their hard work and contribution to the modelling industry.
Upcoming talents were also acknowledged; including parents who supported such talents relentlessly. The organizer of the event stated that he has been a big improvement in this year’s edition.
Speaking on the progress of the Ghana Models Awards JUNIORS, the founder Jerry Wonder Sampson said that this year has been very encouraging from both sponsors and participants.
“This year, our sponsors really did well in providing directives and support for the event. Also, parents really came out to see these young talents show us what they got…it was very encouraging for me and my team; a very big improvement from last year”, he said.
Among some of the winners of the night were Papa Yaw Aboagye who received the ‘Overall Male Model of the Year’, Blessing Kyei who also took home the ‘Overall Female Model of the Year’.
New categories included the ‘Baby Model of the Year – Male and Female which were won by Daxton Papa Ekow Giurre and Marvella Dzikunu – Michaels respectively.
The event was hosted by ‘Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2021 contestant Dede Tetteh and child prodigy Orielia Quartey a.k.a ‘Stonegyal.
The Ghana Models Awards JUNIORS is a subsidiary of the Ghana Models Awards which is designated for adult models and also comes off every year.

9) Most Promising Model of the Year (Male) – Jason Obrempong Aning
10) Most Promising Model of the Year (Female) – Amira Mohammed
11) Fitness/ Sports Model of the Year – Jason Obrempong Aning
12) Baby Model of the Year (Male) – Daxton Papa Ekow Giurre
13) Baby Model of the Year (Female) – Marvella Dzikunu
