Barcelona wonderboy Lamine Yamal hit Cristiano Ronaldo’s ‘calma’ celebration in the El Clasico match on Sunday, May 11, after scoring a stunning goal in the first half. Yamal, after curling in an effort from the right side of the Real Madrid penalty box in the 32nd minute, not only taunted the visiting fans but further took a dig at Kylian Mbappe, who had scored 2 goals in the match by then.

It was a typical goal from Yamal, who cut into the box from the right side of the pitch and curled in a shot into the far side of the net, equalising the match 2-2 for Barcelona. With the goal, Yamal furthered the opinions going around that he might be the most exciting player at the moment in world football.

It was an incredible first half at the Estadi Olmpic Llus Companys on Sunday, with 6 goals being scored in the first half. Real Madrid, who are trailing Barcelona in the LaLiga table, scored two quick goals courtesy of Kylian Mbappe inside the first 15 minutes of the game.

Barcelona, undeterred by the initial setback, slammed 4 back-to-back goals against their arch-rivals, with Eric Garcia kicking off the proceedings for the home side with a sublime close-range header. After Garcia’s goal, Barcelona put in attack after attack and equalised via Lamine Yamal, then went in front owing to two goals from Raphinha, who made full use of some stunning passing football from the home side.

Yamal has been in sensational form throughout the season, but in recent times, he has stepped up to score goals for Barcelona in the most difficult moments. In both legs against Inter Milan, Yamal was the best player in the Barcelona side and once again showed his pedigree on Sunday, furthering his claim for the Ballon d’Or this season.
