    Parliament to Resume Sitting on May 21 – Speaker Bagbin Announces

    The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, has announced the start of the Second Meeting of the Second Session of the Ninth Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana.

    A notice issued from the Speaker’s Office in Accra on Monday, May 4, 2026, stated that Parliament will reconvene on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Parliament House.

    The announcement was made in accordance with Order 58 of the Standing Orders of Parliament, serving as formal notification to Members of Parliament and other stakeholders.

    The upcoming meeting will enable the House to resume deliberations on legislative business and address key national issues of public interest.
