Kwaku Osei-Sarpong, founder and CEO of CIPA Holdings Group, has been honoured as the Most Respected Entrepreneur in Renewable Energy for 2026 at the Ghana Entrepreneurs & Corporate Executives Awards.
The award was presented during a ceremony held at the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel on April 25, 2026, attended by business leaders, corporate executives, and members of the diplomatic community. The recognition highlights his growing influence in Ghana’s renewable energy and infrastructure space.
Osei-Sarpong described the honour as a reflection of the broader work being undertaken by his company to advance sustainable development and attract long-term investment into Ghana’s energy sector.
Through CIPA Holdings, he has played a key role in deploying solar power, battery storage, and hybrid energy systems across industrial, commercial, and public-sector clients. His approach combines infrastructure development with financing strategies aimed at making projects scalable and attractive to investors.
He emphasised that the future of energy in Ghana lies in solutions that are both environmentally sustainable and commercially viable, noting that clean energy adoption increases when it improves efficiency and reduces costs.
His work has also gained international recognition, including a feature in the Gulf News UAE Global FDI Report focusing on Ghana, which connects investors from the Gulf region to opportunities across Africa.
Under his leadership, CIPA Holdings has developed into an integrated platform supporting project development, financing, and execution, enabling participation in Ghana’s transition to cleaner energy.
A major area of focus has been industrial decarbonisation, helping sectors such as manufacturing, mining, and agro-processing improve efficiency through renewable energy solutions. He is also advancing utility-scale energy projects and promoting electromobility as part of a broader strategy linking energy, industry, and transportation.
Osei-Sarpong has previously received several accolades, including recognition by Forbes Africa, the Rising Star of the Year award at the Ghana Energy Awards 2024, and honours among Africa’s most influential young leaders.
Industry observers say his latest award reflects a growing class of African leaders driving innovation while building systems that support long-term economic growth and investment.
As Ghana positions itself as a hub for climate-focused investment, his work is increasingly seen as contributing to efforts to connect global capital with local development opportunities.
